Developed for High-Level competition, PIWATTER PRO is the ultimate and definitive overspeed training system for canoeing (kayak and canoe).

Since 2020 it has been used by the Spanish National Kayaking Team.

The equipment allows increasing the training volumen at competition speed (assisted speed) as well as training above the competition speeds (overspeed) allowing the most specific neuromuscular adaptions possible.

The kit includes a monographic book on the theory of overspeed in canoeing. The electronic version of the book can be downloaded here.

After continuous and comprehensive development and testing since 2018, the equipment provides the following features:

- TECHNICAL FEATURES

Ultralight with a powerful propeller. It delivers up to 1000w at peak performance and it weighs only 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs).

The battery lasts from 8 minutes to more than 8 hours, depending on the power used by the motor in accordance with the following:

- STRUCTURAL FEATURES

-The equipment when installed respects the integrity of the boat. The equipment is mounted without drilling or rivets.

-Once the brackets are mounted, the equipment can be installed or uninstalled in less than a minute.

-Furthermore, the brackets can be uninstalled easily without leaving any marks.

- SUSTAINABILITY FEATURES

- It is environmentally friendly as it uses battery powered electrical energy.

- It is possible to recharge the battery by connecting to a normal electrical outlet socket or with solar energy.

COMPLEMENTS

The equipment was originally developed for kayaking. The technical requirements requested during its development has resulted in an equipment which is ultralight, powerful and with adaptability characteristics.

PIWATTER PRO is considered to be a unique product in the nautical market and the following brackets and adapters have been developed for use in different environments:

1- "PNZ-17" SUPPORT

It enables the use of PIWATTER PRO in:

Light sailing, as an auxiliary propeller for:

a) Basic manoeuvres for port entry and exit operations.

b) In exceptional situations, e.g., in case of lack of wind, direction of wind incompatible with a narrow route or with dangerous obstacles. Also, during strong winds it is safer to return to the port or to the shore of a lake after lowering the sails and motor propulsion.
Auxiliary pneumatics, for transport operations to the beach and return from an anchored ship, PIWATTER PRO performs the equivalent work of a 2.5 hp motor and can be easily recharged on the boat or on land.

As it is an electrical motor the boat will not have to handle any gasoline. Also, its use avoids breakdowns and maintenance associated with internal combustion engines.

The size and weight of PIWATTER PRO (less than 2.5 kg or 5.5. lbs) makes it possible to store the equipment at home or store it in a secure location on the boat after sailing, instead of leaving it outdoors in the open and thus avoiding its deterioration and possible theft.

2- "SPT-23" SUPPORT

It enables the use of PIWATTER PRO in:

-Paddle surfing boards: for fun or in emergency situations, such as, surfing against the winds, large waves, extreme fatigue, muscle cramps. PIWATTER PRO will provide the power to reach the land safely.

-Surfboards: with PIWATTER PRO attached to the board the surfboards can easily reach the furthest waves or practice surfing in places without waves.

-Rescue boards: with PIWATTER PRO attached to the board, it will reach the bather in danger and bring the person quickly to a safe area.

3- "SPT29" FOLDABLE SUPPORT

With the foldable support the motor can be kept out of water and thus avoiding friction with the water during training (warm-up). Or when practicing the sport without the assistance of the auxiliary propeller. It can be folded with minimum effort.
Less space is used in the baggage when combined with the PNZ-17.

4- "PNZ-EX06" SUPPORT (soon)

Convert PIWATTER PRO into a bow thruster.

In boats weighing less than 1000 kg (2204 lbs) it is possible to adapt PIWATTER PRO to the bow deck and align the boat in the mooring operation when the cross winds make this task difficult.

OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES

Optionally, PIWATTER PRO can be complemented with:

-Cigarette lighter (12v-24v).

-With 40w solar panel it will be possible to recharge PIWATTER PRO in 5 hours of sunlight.

-External battery doubles or quadruples (BT02 and BT04 respectively) the duration of PIWATTER PRO. The external battery can be connected while the equipment is being used.
